Borehole Rehabilitation in Skeerpoort

Planning your Skeerpoort property

For Skeerpoort farm enquiries, send the farm entrance and proposed drilling pin separately. Include irrigation blocks, livestock points and tank locations so the assessment addresses distribution as well as water extraction.

Establish the performance change

Provide the original drilling log, historical yield and recent pumping behaviour where available. Explain whether output declined gradually or suddenly and list earlier cleaning, pump or rehabilitation work.

Distinguish borehole condition from pump faults

Reduced delivery does not establish that a borehole needs rehabilitation. Discuss pump and system checks alongside the borehole assessment so that the proposed work addresses an identified cause.

Review the proposed rehabilitation method

Ask for the reason the method is proposed, the work stages, equipment access and exclusions. Confirm any pump retrieval, inspection and testing requirements. The appropriate approach depends on the condition found on site.

Measure the outcome

Agree how performance will be compared before and after work. Rehabilitation can have limits where groundwater availability or borehole condition restricts supply. Record results before deciding on pump sizing or further investment.
